A modern Left Bank spot for the wild cuisine of Auvergne

This wonderfully odd little Latin Quarter restaurant serves the cuisine of the wild Auvergne region of France—a lot of country ham, roast chicken, beef with mushrooms, that sort of thing—and sets the mood for it by piping native birdsong into the homey-modern dining room.

Reserve in advance for a table au dehors to sit on the flagstones of the pretty little back garden.

This place really loves its Auvergne heritage; there’s even an on-site boutique selling regional products.
